Hello (again...) from Mexico!
Hello, everyone!
My name is Miguel (Mike) and I live in Mexico. I was a member at Straight Razor Place years ago but I took a break from straight razor shaving due to lack of honing equipment. However, I'm back at straights and have a small, but reasonable, honing setup including a Naniwa SS1K, a pair of BBWs, a coticule, slurry stone and a Shapton Kuromaku 1K.
I just shaved with a Boker Edelweiss, stropped on a TI Extra Wide Paddle Strop, Omega boar brush (I love firm brushes), OSMA shaving soap and aftershave balm.
So, to tell you the truth, I'm not a straight razor beginner at all. I learned how to shave with a DOVO I bought at SR Designs maybe 10 or 11 years ago. However, I had no other option but to shave with a DE for years until I got the budget for a good honing setup.
I almost forgot to mention that I could not recover my original Straight Razor Place account (I forgot both email and password).
