    Default Hello from South Carolina!

    Hello all,
I just started shaving with a DE safety razor and I love it! I’m 50 and this is the first time I tried it. Been using a cartridge razor and sometimes an electric.

    Hello and welcome to SRP.

I'm guessing that the D.E. razor is just your beginning in the wet shaving world.
A plethora of shave soap and shaving brushes will keep you busy until you take the next step and move on to straight razors.

Enjoy the journey down the bottomless rabbit hole!

Welcome to SRP. Tell us what DE and blade you used. We mainly use straights around here but some of us still break out the DE or SE on occations. What soaps do you have. It can be a long fall down the rabbit hole when it comes to wetshaving so hold on to your wallet.
    It's just Sharpening, right?

I’ve been using a Van Der Hagen razor with King Gillette blades and Porazo shave soap (green puck)

Welcome from Florida. Hope you find a home here. Lots of good people to help with information and encouragement. Just beware of the afflictions: RAD: razor acquisition disorder, SAP: soap acquisition disorder, etc.
