Thanked: 1Hello, good sirs
Just wanted to introduce myself and say 'hi'. My girlfriend got me a straight razor for Christmas and I've been shaving with it ever since. I'm sure I'll have questions about shaving and probably maintenance and modifications as well. From just lurking this seems like a cool place.

Welcome to SRP!
Make sure you check the Wiki (link at the top of the page) for loads of great info and advice. It sounds like you are off to a good start though..!
How are your shaves going? What razor did you get? Have you had any problems?
If you have any questions you will find this a welcoming and friendly site, so feel free to ask, or PM me if you prefer!

Hello, Good Sirs
My dear Rob,
Welcome to SRP, the home of gentlemen shavers.
As Stuart points out, you will find mounds of information in the Wiki section. Also, SRP has an impressive cast of experts on the straight razor world to answer any question you might have. I am in awe of the extent of knowledge these learned ladies and gentlemen have.
Ask and ye shall find out in a snap.
Thank you for joining us. This is a great neighborhood.
Regards,
Obie

Welcome to SRP!
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Hello and welcome to SRP! There is a lot to learn but there is just as much help if not more.
