    Default Second Go Around

    Hello everyone.

When i was a 'youts' (~16) my dad introduced me to the straight razor. He took me to our local barber, who over time taught me quite a bit. I remember my dad ( a doctor) using his microscope to show me the teeth of good vs. poor edges. Really pretty cool.

After a few years I moved on in life, got in a hurry... .

I'm now retired; was reading in a totally unrelated forum (Lightfighter) and someone mentioned my old friend, shaving as a comfort.

So here I am, trying to catch up. It is amazing how some things (40 yrs later) remain the same.

I also realize how much there is still to learn.

    Bob

Hi Bob, welcome to SRP. I fooled with straights years ago too and also gave them up and moved on until finding SRP and now I am hooked. Check out the SRP Wiki here for tutorials to refresh your memory and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
