Thread: just checking in

Hello everyone,

just a note to say hello and a hearty thank you for putting together such a great resource. I'm a relative newbie to the straight shave, though I haven't fully gotten into it yet (I'm currently using a replaceable blade 'shavette' type while I rescale and restore a couple of old hollow ground blades..not to mention learning how to sharpen and strop).

I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions, I'm the kind that likes to be as informed as possible before I fully go into something. I apologize in advance for any annoyance.
