Thread: Hello!

Hello everyone. Although new to the site I'm not new to wet shaving. My regular razors are DE's and SE's, a 40's Gold Tech, Fatboy, Aristocrat and a GEM Damaskeene.

I started wetshaving with the intention of going to a straight eventually and I am starting to shop for a razor, and strop. I'm a member of Badger and Blade (A_Jameson) and thought it would be beneficial to join a group that was specifically straight shavers. I'm looking forward to learning!

Welcome to SRP. Your DE experience with lathering and prep will cut the learning curve somewhat. Particularly if you already employ skin stretching techniques. If you haven't already done so may I suggest you check out the SRP Wiki beginner's guide here.
