Thank you all. This includes both those with tons of experience and those who are just starting out. The information that you shared with one another has helped me make my decision to join the ranks of the straight razor world. I am currently anxoiusly waiting for my beginer set from straightrazordesign to be delivered so I can get started. Rest assured, I will proceed with babysteps. Welcome to SRP!!! It sounds like you have already been doing some reading, and you made a good choice in purchasing your first equipment from SRD.

If you haven't already, make sure you read everything in the wiki about getting your first shave. Also, feel free to post any questions that you have while you wait for those new goodies to arrive.

Thanks for the greetings. I will read through the Wiki to get as much insight as possible. Anything I can do to help lessen the learning curve I am all for it, it is still my face.
