Thanked: 0Hi from Quebec
Been shaving for the last 15 years or so with a replaceable blades straight razor and since I'm having a hard time finding the blades these days I'm moving to sharpening my blades. I ordered a Wapi to test my skills and will be looking for something better in a short time.
Have a lot to learn but I think this forum will help me a lot !

Hi From Quebec
Hello, jpbiker:
Welcome to SRP. Yes, this place is a bastion of knowledge on the straight razor and traditional shaving world. There is plenty of material to research. Good luck.
Regards,
Obie

Welcome to the forum. It's nice to have some fellow QC'rs on the forum, but you'll see - everyone is really helpfull !! Where did you get you're Wapi ? My first shave ready razor was a Wapi ( from Fendrihan.com ) hone by Dan Gauthier ( aka: Floppyshoes if I am not mistaken - great job BTW Dan !! ).

Thanked: 0Got it from Ebay, it's NOS with the mark on it I figured that for 50$ shipped it would do the trick.
Should be allright for a start so I can get the hand of stroping and honing. It won't come shave ready though and I might have to send it for the first hone ... Anyone in Qc that can do a good job at that or am I better off sending it to some meister in the states ?
