Hello to the few & the brave,

I'm a 33 year old Plumbing Contractor in Miami, FL. I used to hate shaving & and having to trim before a shave etc, it was really a chore but I needed to look clean cut(Sometimes'=P). Sooo... I found a video about SR by Lynn Abrams on youtube, Ah man.. ended up catching the bug.. I bought a honed Gold Dollar 200 and a strop, brush etc.. I've been shaving and reading for about 3 weeks now and I have come a long way thanks to all the great information being shared on the web - I want to say TY to all of you here at SRP, your site has helped me so much and I appreciate that. I just recently purchased a better quality razor from a nice gentleman in the classifieds here, a shave ready Vintage J.A Henckels Twin Works 16. I'm really exited and can't wait for it to get here, lol I sense the symptoms of AD..

This was the GD 200 then the cheap scales cracked from beign aligned inproperly.

I Made some scales, nothing fancy but they worked great..

I just got hooked on straight razors myself, and have found the people here very knowledgeable and friendly.
Your South Beach is pretty crazy by the way.
