Morning everyone, I've paroused the site for a little while, and have been wet shaving with de and se for approx 8 months or so. Started shaving with a straight 3 weeks ago a Noonan I picked up locally and quite enjoy it, have since ordered the world of straight razors dvd, purchased a 220, 1000, 4000, and 8000 stones and getting right into it. I thought my ad was bad with de's i've managed to track down approx 30 straights in the last two weeks! lol. Anyway I'm from Edmonton, Alberta and am quite enjoying being a part of this forum.

back bacon is a staple part of my diet! haha and as for eh... well that's a little jewel i save for special occasions. As for the dvd, yeah for everything i've read basically anywhere it's the grail of everything straight razor. I'm a knowledge nut and just love to learn everything and anything possible so i'm looking forward to being able to prep my own razors and am lucky enough to have found a few people close to home from this site that are more then willing to help with the learning process. I find the entire group of wet shaving enthusiasts to be some of the best people in general i've ever met. I'm part of alot of automotive enthusiast clubs and the caliber of people there couldn't shake a stick at the people within this hobby/lifestyle.
