Thread: Hello my straight razor brethren. I guess it's better late than never.....

Hello all. My name is Alan, and I'm a straight razor enthusiast from California. I'm actually not a new member, I have been a member since 06, however due to an illness, I was inactive for about 3 years. I had to change my email address and forgot my username/password so I had to sign up again. So without further ado......

I really love this whole straight razor shave experience. I'm just now getting good at it and my last 5 shaves have been amazing. I am slowly mastering handling the razor and I also have realized the importance of my preshave ritual. I would like to thank Lynn Abrams, Mainaman, DeBerlin, Sapito and Maximillian who have directly assisted me via email/phone calls. They were always quick to respond and were very interested in helping me and sincere. I would like to thank everyone else who have indirectly helped via your threads. The information gleaned from reading was extremely helpful. I look forward to continuing this obsession of mine and, maybe one day I can recipricate.
