    Hello all. I am glad I found this site, there seems to a wealth of knowledge here. Just getting into shaving with a straight razor and I am looking forward to years of enjoyment.

    Welcome to SRP. Straight razor shaving is the best way I have found to do the job in over 40 years of cutting the whiskers off of my pretty face. Check out the SRP Wiki beginner's guide here if you haven't done so already. Think about sending those two razors you found to a honemeister for sharpening as well.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
