Thread: Hello from San Francisco

Hello,
My name is Mack. I'm currently living in San Francisco. I started shaving with a straight razor about five months ago after reading up on as much helpful info on this forum as I could. Just finally joined a few days ago since I'm planning on getting an old cheap razor from ebay or an antique store to practice honing on and maybe restore. I'm currently shaving with a Dovo Silver Steel Ebony razor from straightrazordesigns and loving it. I don't have many shaves under my belt yet as I only shave once a week or so, but every shave seems to be closer and more comfortable. I'm allready way past what I was able to achieve with a Mach3 cartrige. Anyway, just wanted to say hello and thanks for all the information that I've allready absorbed from this great resource. I know I've only tapped the tip of the ice berg here and I'm looking forward to learning even more.
