Greetings!
Hello, my names Elliott. Just got into the whole straight shaving thing a couple days ago. My first razor is a Dovo, 5/8 full hollow. Still getting the hang of things..

Welcome to SRP Elliott. A Dovo is a good razor to start with and follow you through the years. You did make sure you purchased it shave ready right?

I bought it from Royal Shave.com It did not say it was shave ready, and it was NOT shave ready. I had to do some laps on my strop several times. I still dont think its shave ready, and I just bought an Arizona oil tri hone kit today, which I think dulled my razor. i dont know if I want to spend 60-80 bucks on the reliable Norton 4000/8000 as this arizona was 44$.
