    Default Well on my way

    Hi All,

    Another Canuck hailing from Ottawa here. I've been lurking for some time and actually shaving with a proper straight for around 2 months after a good while in DE land. Things have been going pretty smoothly so far, and I'm proud to say that I got a great shave tonight without even having to glance at the styptic pen afterwards

    So far, I've a single strop to my name, two razors (a NOS Wapi, and an 8/8 Spanish Point Friodur both of which I love), and a couple of hones (1K, 4K/8K) which I used to tune the Wapi up when I recieved it (might have been a fluke, but even the honing seemed to go pretty well after doing some reading and watching numerous videos).

    Anyhow, I'm looking forward to growing my collection and continuing to enjoy this little hobby!
