Hello from Washington
Hi everyone. I've been DE shaving for about 3 years and have always wanted to try straights, but never made up my mind about whether or not to order a straight to try out until I heard about LarryAndro and his inexpensive straight razors. I should be getting what I'll call my "11/16 LarryAndro SuperUnknown Special" (no brand markings) early this week. Here's my "Hall of Fame" post from Badger and Blade where you can find me as "Ender Wiggins" (with a space).

Welcome to SRP, Ben! Using a straight razor is a challenge at first, a skill to master, but I think you will find it very rewarding and enjoyable. Do check out the SRP Knowledge Base here- where you will find some excellent resources for learning to use your new straight.

Hi there Ben . Enjoy the ride & smooth shaving

Welcome Ben, there are a few quite a few of us PNW'ers here. Enjoy the fourms, read the wiki's and ask lots of questions. And most of all have fun shaving.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I've been reading through the wiki and I think my first straight should make it to my house either today or tomorrow. I'll probably have to wait till tomorrow night to have enough beard growth to try it out though.
