Greetings
Hello. I have been poking about the forum for a couple of days now, gathering information, so I thought I should officially join, post and say hello.
I have been researching better shaving methods for my husband as he has a lot of irritation from shaving, mainly due to doing many passes with a multi-blade commercial razor (from my observation anyhow) to get the shave close enough for his taste. I am also becoming quite interested in the possibility of doing my own shaving after reading some of the ladies threads as well. Oh, the hazards of research.
I am sure I will mainly lurk and absorb information for the next few days. There is a LOT of great information for newbies like myself, and it is laid out in such a way that it was easy to find. Thank you all for your generous help and sharing natures!

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Welcome to Straight Razor Place. We're delighted to have you here.
Take your time learning your way around SRP. Ask questions. One day, if you feel you're ready to shave with brush, soap and straight razor, we'll be more than happy to guide you along.

From one "newbie" to another.....Welcome!
And I just noticed it says "senior member" under my name but I haven't been around THAT long. I still feel like a "newbie".
