    Default Hello from Arkansas

    I've not even gotten a straight razor yet, I've been prowling flea markets and looking online. My personality is the sort that before I get into anything I feel the need to do as much research as possible. I'd really gotten tired of feeling that shaving was a chore while at the same time getting crummy, uncomfortable shaves from the latest and greatest shaving gizmos.

    Welcome to SRP, wd. Glad to have someone from God's country join. Don't tell me you're from north Central Arkansas (White River, Norfork River areas) or I'll be jealous

    Good idea to read all you can on the WIKI before purchasing your supplies. SRP has a great group of gentlemen who are willing to help you on your new venture. This forum was invaluable to me when I started straight razor shaving one month ago today.
