Hey brother from the low lands (I'm dutch to). Glad to see a fellow countryman having such a great start. I myself only had my 4the shave today and I know your feeling, at first you hack yourself up (which still happens) but it gets better and better and I can honestly say I just had the best as closest shave ever. BBS!

So keep going and enjoy the awesomeness of Str8 shaving

P.S. My bathroom looks like a cowboy is living there with all the awesome stuff around, I feel so macho XD

Hey guys, thanks for all the replies!

A couple of days ago, I accidentally battered my Dovo into the tap, which caused a fair bit of blunting. Nothing too serious, but it was a good excuse to finally unbox my brand new DiaSharp set ^^. After breaking in the hones with a dozen of kitchen-knifes, I decided that the time had come to fix the edge of my Dovo with the 8K. My honing job was kinda poor, but the pasted strops made up for the lack of skill and coticule, so I got a decent shave. Not great, but not bad either =D

@jojingo: if you know an address where I could get a Naniwa 12K for a relatively cheap price, I'm certainly interested!

In the meanwhile, I purchased a vintage Wostenholm Fat Blade Razor (6/8"). It's in a pretty poor overall condition, but it was cheap, so I can finally get some honing skills without the risk of ruining my everyday Dovo.

If, and this is a large IF, the Wostenholm somehow survives my honing en polishing practice sessions, I will need to re-pin the darn thing. I absolutely adore the torx and hexagon nuts 'n bolts, but can't find a local store that sells any fasteners that small. In fact, I can't even find washers that small.

Surely, I could order some at Microfasteners.com, but I'd prefer to buy 'em in Holland (or Western Europe for that matter) because of the shipping costs.
    Any tips on good razor-supply-stores?
