Newbie doesnt even have a razor yet
Recently i decided that i wanted to start shaving with a straight razor, rather than the electric and cheap disposables I've been using for years. While doing some research on it i came across this thread and thought it was perfect to get to know everything and learn about everything i need

I would recommend the classifieds for a good razor as you can get some good deals there.

Welcome to SRP. Glad to have you aboard. You've certainly come to the right place. I agree with the previous advise about getting your first razor from the classified section here. You will get a shave ready quality razor at a very fair price.

Check my sig for basic information and a nice place to get inexpensive equipment.
You will want to eventually read all the wiki has to offer, and ask questions in the various sub forums here, but its a start.
