    Default Hi there

Hello from Tn. recently happened upon this site while researching straight razor shaving. I love these forums they are a wealth of knowledge. About a year ago I ditched my multi blade cartridge gimme all your money for four refills razor for a DE and some shave soap. I like the ritual of the shave so much I thought I would take it to the next step and get my first straight razor. I have done much research here and am looking forward to more... Hope to talk to yall soon.

Welcome to SRP! Congrats on deciding to try out straight razor shaving.
Keep up with the reading and you'll be ready to go in no time.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Welcome. I've been straight shaving for a month now, and any success that I've had at it is directly related to this site. Enjoy the learning process, and don't be afraid to ask questions-- these guys know everything. You're about to find out that a straight shave is definately more than just a shave.

+1, definitely read the wiki and don't be afraid to ask questions. The members here are incredibly giving of their time and knowledge...

Enjoy the process as the little bit of indulgence in the day is worth every second!
