    Hi there fellas as you guessed I am no to both this forum and shaving with a real razor I have been doing it for about a month now and I have two razors both dovo a dovo stainless and a dovo black star I have a mountian mike 2inch strop and have been using williams shave soap I am looking to shave like a man an kick the mach3 to the curb all opions of my selection of equipment all help would be appriciated

    Welcome to SRP! This is a great place for info and you'll have no shortage of help.

    As for your gear... sounds like you are off to a good start with your razors (assuming they were honed by a pro). I have not used a mountain mike strop, but the williams soap will work. If you really want a treat, try some SRD, TGQ, or any handful of other soaps/creams.
