Thread: Good evening gentlemen, glad to be a part of something so rewarding.

Hi folks,

I have had an interest in straight razor shaving for several years. I purchased my first ( a Wacker ) a couple of years back and just worked up the nerve to begin using this after much research. Tons of research! My first 3 shaves were like feeling ice cold water in a swimming pool for the first time. Then, it's almost like the over cautious air lifted and then some nice straight shaving was happening. It's been almost 2 months but I'm now hooked. I have 7 straights and a custom order with RW in queue.

It's nice to feel a sense of tradition during a daily ritual and to know there are others who take pride in doing the same. Just wanted to introduce myself and get onboard...

Thanks guys... I have been using my straights in the evenings rather than morning and just used my new Thiers Issard Sparticus for the first time... was outstanding.. I have dove off the deep end - I'm an all or nothing type of guy and this is "all in"...
