Thread: Greetings from (near) Rochester, NY

Hey guys,

My name is Don and I've been lurking on the list for a few weeks now, but have yet to post. I was actually searching for a diamond paste to use for my plane blades and I ran across SRD. My curiosity was piqued, and i bought a strop/razor set, etc.

My shaves have improved every day, and I find myself looking forward to shaving. I also have developed a bit of an addiction to anything straight razor related...that happen a lot around here?

I have gathered a ton of info from all of the members so far and I can't thank you enough! I look forward to the journey.

Yes, many people get hung up that is exactly what an AD is.
You have many SRP members near your so if you need help please ask. I know of some in your area that have helped me immensely.

We do a show and tell, shave cream/soap lathering, brusher, shaving demos, honing restorations and what ever else shave related. If you think you have an AD now wait until after you attend a straight razor meet!
