G'Day gday
From Australia and wanting to say hello to everyone after lurking for a couple of months on this great site.
Have DE shaved for over a year now, but have always wanted to straight shave and now it's time! Started with the Dovo Special in Tortoise shell from SRD and can't wait to build up my ADs all over again hehe ..
I've all ready ruined and sanded down one practice strop, somehow chipped another razor of mine and luckily never had a big cut until this morning, but hey sounds about right?
Looking fowards to joining in on some posts, but there's such a wealth of information sometimes it hurts. Can't beat sharp steel, love it, or should I say smooth sharp steel!

thanks all for the welcome!
hi oz , yea that's the one, hopefully it's not causing you too much pain to fix!
I was going to post details on that later for other newbies to learn from. Luckily my other razors have had a better life so far
