    Hello,

I am kind of in the area. I live in Freeport, NY which is "on" Long Island. Probably about 30 miles east of you. I could use some honing lessons.

Where in BK did you move to?

When I get settled maybe we can get togather, Im by no means an expert, I use Nani and coticule but the coticule Im still getting to know so much harder to predictic outcome usally I just set a bevel on the coti and refine up to what I think is about 5-8k on the coti then take it to the nanis for finishing, anyway what are you using for a hone system?

I am using a set of Naniwa stones consisting of a 2k, 5k, 8k and 12k. I have very little experience honing other than touching up the shave ready razors I already have. Let me know when you get settled and maybe we can get together. You are probably more of an expert than me.
