Thread: New guy from the north

Hey everyone I wanted to introduce myself I am just beginning in the straight razor world but even before i registered here this forum has been of great help to me. I began looking into straight razors because I hate the changeable cartridges they beat up my skin and I think its a waste of materials throwing them out. I purchased my first razor from Bob Keyes on ebay and completed my first shave with it earlier this week with only one minor nick though i only did one pass as my hand was getting a little shaky by the end. I look forward to being a member here and enjoying this fine art.

You were wise to purchase from Bob Keyes. He does great work and I have never done wrong when puurchasing from him. As you progress and your experience grows you will be amazed at what a great shave you are able to enjoy from a straight razor.
