Thread: In the mail

Hello all, new to the site and new to the straight razor. I've never actually had one on my face....yet. Very excited and looking forward to the experience.
I have made a few purchases and am waiting patiently for them to arrive.
It was the honing of a straight razor that first got me interested but I have found myself wandering off course more and more often. My interest is quickly changing to actually shaving with a straight razor. I have failed to make even one purchase of new honing equipment.
In a few more days and I will have a beautiful razor I have purchased from a site member although I never intended to buy a shave ready razor. Can't wait!
With a vast number of Antique stores in my area I should have no problem finding some gems to share.

It's good that you're getting your first razor shave ready. That way when you go out and pick up your antique store gold, you'll have a good benchmark on what's shave ready and what's not.
