Thanked: 0Hello
Hello, from upstate New York.
I have an old razor, a Joseph & Rodgers and Sons. It has been in the family for a long time. Wondering if anybody could help me date it.
It is marked Cutlers to THEIR Majestys I believe, the last two letter are very hard to read. It also has The Celebrated on the blade, which could have been done later.
Thanks for any help.

Based on the information that I have been able to gather thus far it looks like these razors were made a long time ago as an excusive to crowned heads of eastern europe.

Welcome to the forum. Where in Upstate NY are you located?
Pictures would be a big help to help you date this razor.

Welcome to Straight Razor Place. You have a prized razor brand in your hand. I am sure our razor experts here will be able to date it for you; however, pictures would help enormously.
