Greetings! And opinions on Cut Throat brand
Hi! I am totally new. Will be purchasing a straight razor and accessories some time in the next year or so. Does anyone have an opinion on Cut Throat brand? I like the name of it, but then there's quality to consider.

But if it is cheap, and new, and seems too good to be true, then I probably is....

Is that the one that teamed with Hart? Baxter line? for 345$? Lil pricey for a new produt line if you ask me. I would stick with a dovo or revisor and buy 3 apiece.

Actually I think some people call straight razors "cut throat" and I mistook this for a brand name. So I don't think it exists. I'll be sure to get something from this list though.

Cut-throat is simply the British term for straights.
If you're looking for a starter razor, there's usually no better value than a vintage from the classifieds.

Thanked: 3795I knew straight razors were also called cut throats. I just assumed this guy had found a new Pakastani source for razor shaped objects.

Me too at first, the new "brands" crop up fast. I was just confirming the alternative name for him.

Thanked: 983I was looking for the brand of Cut-throat that he was talking about and not seeing it. Took me a while to figure it out. I have trouble with the name 'Straight' and 'Open' razor, having called them 'Cut-throats' all my life.
