    Default Hello from Oslo, Norway

    I started shaving with a straight razor a few months ago, and have already got my feet wet with restorations. I have already acquired a few ebay lots with various razors and have been working my way through them, restoring and honing as needed. The experience has been a lot of fun. I now have several sheffields, as well as german, swedish and american made razors in my collection. My restorations are getting better, my honing skills are improving and my shaves are getting nicer, smoother and more comfortable, in no small way thanks to great online resources for beginning straight razor users and restorers like SRP. I have been known to carry a manly battlescar or two, but that probably is down to the fact that I shave in the mornings and therefore refuse to go slow. I've already been lurking here a few months, thanks to all for keeping this place so lively and full of great info.

    Welcome to SRP, I'm sure everyone would be glade if you posted some pics of your restorations in the respective forums as we all love to see what people can do with their razors.
