BTW I am from NY, upstate Buffalo

I live in the Bronx. I visit Queens and Manhattan on a regular basis though, just because I am far more interested in Asian culture (parts of Queens and lower Manhattan) along with the vast amount of stores in Manhattan. I became deeply interested in straight razors because a book/website The Art of Manliness brought it to my attention. I do plan on buying a razor soon.

I live in Long Island....Nassau County so not too far from you.

I'm definitely no expert, but when the time comes, if you want to get together I think I'm experienced enough to show you the basics of stropping, lathering and shaving.
