Thanked: 0Greetings from Seattle 2: Electric Boogaloo
I'm thrilled to have found this community. Thanks for having me!
I've been interested in SR shaving for a while, and I've been shaving with a Shavette for the last month or so to see if I like the habit with less outlay than buying into a full razor.
It turns out I do.
So it's time to start collecting the tools I need for a good, everyday shave with a long-term SR. I'm looking at this in the classifieds, and it fits the FAQ's recommendation for a first blade. Can anyone think of anything standing in my way?
Anyway, good to be here. I can tell I'll be coming back over, and over, and over.

Thanked: 3795It's a Dovo honed by Lynn? You'd better hit "BUY IT NOW" pretty quickly!

Welcome to SRP. If you're the one who purchased that Dovo, you are guaranteed that it is shave ready. My RAD must be slipping because somehow I missed that one. Best of luck and keep us posted on your progress now that you are making the switch to a real straight razor.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???
