    Thanks Obie,

So far, I am still digging for all kind of information. I might have to spend a few more days to go through all the different chapters in this forum.

    Salut HVM,

Thanks for all the information provided. Yes, I was planing to go to Ogilvy but it's been a while I have been downtown. I might get there and have a look on what they have to offer. I did visit the Centre du rasoir and they do not have much product on wet shaving. I also visited the web sites that you make reference to and already order some products from Fendrihan. The advantages with the canadian outlet, you get your products faster but they are limited with their product line. Anyway, I'll make a round of what we have here.

I did not start tho shave with a straight razor yet. I have ordered one from a member of this forum and another one from eBay...still waiting. I am excited to receive these products to start practicing. The good this is, I have plenty of time to read the info found on this site and other.

    Thanks for you help.

I once considered starting a small store, but there's no way I could provide better pricing without buying a ridiculous amount of razors from Dovo, TI or anyone else. IMHO, fendrihan and rasagepoulin are decent and should not be overlooked.

Best advice I can give any fellow Montréalais: Don't buy local unless you're in a hurry. All the stores here are overpriced, have a shitty selection and don't provide honing.

    Salutations et bienvenue.

I can't concur more... The only things I buy locally are the shaving/grooming products that I want to try out for the first time. After that, I order online.

    Bonjour Floppyshoes,

Thanks a lot for the advice, it will save me some steps. Incidently my wife have access to some products like the Proraso family of products as well as the Real Shaving product line; she works in a Pharmaprix. I already ordered some products at Fendrihan...they have answered all my questions and they have a fast delivery service.

    Merci
