Getting back to it
Just jumped in. Looks like a lot of good info. I've begun using a straight after a 25 year hiatus and am basically new. No cuts yet.

Thank you. I'm looking forward to it. I dug out my old (40yrs) razor.
It is a Dubl Duck Styledge. Anyone heard of this one??

Dubl Ducks are well known and well liked around these parts. Do you have hones to sharpen it up?

It wasn't too bad for sitting all that time. I honed it on a nice smooth Arkansas stone for a while, then bought a new strop 'cause I couldn't find my old one. It got fairly sharp but I think I'll get something a bit more agressive before the Arkansas stone. Any suggestions??
