Thread: Hi from Montana

Hi all. I am brand new to this web site as of last week. It is fantastic! I'm old enough that I began shaving many years ago with a Gillette DE. I switched to multi's sometime in the 70s and about 4 years ago I picked up the DEs again. But now it's time to try the straights. I am awaiting the delivery of a couple of new Dovo's and some accessories (including Lynn's DVD). In the mean time I've been reading everything I can on this site and have found it very helpful.
I'm really excited to try my new razors and I expect that after I learn how to use them correctly that I will be a convert for life, or at least untill my skin gets so saggy that I can't shave at all.
Thanks to all of you in advance, as I'm sure that I will still have some basic newbie questions once I get going in the next couple of weeks.
