    Default Introduction/show & tell

    Hello all,

My name is Shaun and I've been lurking around this forum for a couple of months now, reading, learning, window shopping.. and thought it was about time I introduced myself.

I'm loving the idea of shaving with a straight and can't wait until after Christmas (when I have money again) to buy a starter kit from straight razor designs.

I also want to introduce and share pictures of a razor that my Grandmother has given me! It definitely needs to be honed and cleaned up a bit but I think it's in pretty good nick otherwise. Id love to hear your opinions with regards to the quality/age of this razor as I have no idea myself (looks cool and oldish in my expert opinion).

    Thanks for having me.

    Cheers,
    Shaun.

Welcome to SRP! Definately the place to get you started in the right direction. Nice looking razor you've got there. hard to tell from the pics but looks like it has a fair bit of honewear but is definately salvagable and a nice looker too

Welcome! That is a good razor you have there. I really like the worked spine & blade etching. The scales are good also. Clean it up first then send it out for honing. Your face will thank you.
