Thanked: 0New to straight razors
I am from MA. Just bought myself a Torrey razor on ebay. Where is a good place to get the rest of the things that I need to get started? Also I am assuming the razor I just bought will have to be sharpened, is this a safe assumption?

Thanked: 275From eBay, it will almost certainly need sharpening -- that is, it will have a rounded or damaged edge. "honing" is the step after "sharpening".
There's a lot of stuff in the Wiki. Until you have the razor in your hands, it's pointless to speculate about how much work it'll be to get it to "shave-ready" condition.

Thanked: 0I am a Celtics fan not Redsox. Baseball is too slow for me. Thanks for the advice. Once I get the razor I will have a better idea of what work needs to be done to it.
