Default First Week w/ a Straight

Just finished my first 7 days of straight razor shaving.
I've suffered the nicks and cuts, matter of fact a friend
said "I look like a sprinter who ran through bush-berries."
It is a small price to pay to learn this craft.
Gone is the drudgery of shaving, and I look forward to
practicing every day. I've read many of the posts here and
have learned much. Thank you for all your help.
Now I have to start honing.

    Welcome!!

It gets better with every shave, after several years I now very rarely get any kind of nick (I'll get one now cause I bragged!)

Welcome to the good side of shaving. The shaves will get better and the cuts/nicks less often. keep at it!

    Enjoy

The shaves most certainly get better, but I don't think one really needs to look like they've sprinted through berry bushes.

That is a beautiful razor, but I'd want to make sure it is shave ready. Where did you get it from?

    Thanks Mark,
I was trying to be funny about the berries. I've had nicks, but they are from losing focus rather than a dull blade I am (mostly) shaving with a Dovo Best Quality which is shave ready from Straight Razor Designs.
The Schulze Weyer I got from eBay and is a 7 day set. The set is not bad, but I will be getting a Norton 4/8k soon to spruce them up. Only Saturday's blade had ever been used.
They are souvenir razors with different German cities on them, Frankfurt, Bremerhaven, Weisbaden, Munich, Stuttgart, Heidelberg and Berlin, labeled Sunday through Saturday.
The steel is great (Original Solingen) and I micro-meshed the scales, they are absolutely beautiful.
Can anyone put a date and a value on this set?

That's a very interesting set. What are the red dots on the backs of some of the razors?

Decoration on the spines. A couple of them have been rubbed off.
