    Hi all,

    I just joined today after receiving my birthday gift - a Dovo Bergischer & Löwe 5/8 razor as well as a brush, mug, and strop. I haven't shaved yet as I just shaved the other day with my (soon to be retired) Fusion and I don't want to go scraping my face up for no reason :lol:

    I've been watching as many videos as I can and reading up on proper technique and I'm pretty excited to get started. There's a ton of information on this forum and I'm glad I'm not the only one who's decided to take up straight razor shaving in this century!
