    Default Checking in from Denmark.

    Hello gentlemen.

    I am an keen DE shaver, and has been for more than 2 years now. I looove my Merkur 37G(slant)...... and my merkur progress, and my Gillette tech 3 piece, and my 3 Super speeds, black handle....and my ... you get the picture... RAD!!!
    I got the lather down to perfection. I know all about NO PRESSURE!! I got a steady hand. I am very patient. I feel ready!!

    I never felt the need to try out straight shaving, i had enough challenges in DE shaving. But now when i master the fine art of DE shaving, it's time move it up a notch.
    I haven't shaved once with a straight. I bought 2, but they weren't sharp enough.
    A Biedermeier from Germany and a M. Jung super 80. They are going to be to sharpended this week, and hopefully i have them by the weekend.

    I hope all goes well with the shaving, because I am dazzled by the razors beauty, elegance and history.
    I will report back when the first shave is done..... If i am still breathing!! LOL

    Hello Lars, and welcome! I am just like you, shaved with DE razors, but my real goal was to learn the art of Straight shaving and honing.

    I really liked shaving with a DE, but I love shaving with Straights
