    Default Newbie from the NW

    Hello,

    I am new around here. I have always had a desire to learn to shave with a straight. I have been wetshaving with a DE for over a year now and have been very happy with that. Now I want to take the next step. I plan to learn a lot from this forum.

    Thanks for the welcome. I would love to come to the meet. I looked through the meet up thread and did not see when the next one is. I am currently only employed part time so times are tough but I will give it a go when the time comes.

    It was late summer last time, I don't foresee it changing unless people cannot arrange it. Depending on where you are it may be possible to ride with another member, while I am not offering other's services I would offer if possible and I am sure you could ask if there was another member in your area.

    Welcome to SRP!

    I used my own unemployed time to improve my shaves. When else can you spend an hour a day shaving?

    I hope you can make it to that meet. I've yet to go to one (only joined SRP in October) and am eager to hear of one near me. There's so much to learn, and it's a sloooow process on your own.

    Good luck with your employment and shaving.
