    Hi, my name is Caleb my friends call me Cal and I would just like to say that these forums are great and I haven't found another source of information on straight razor shaving and techniques that has been extensive or as welcoming as this one. Glad to be apart of it.

    Welcome aboard! This is probably the most comprehensive site around for DE/SR shaving. Read the wikis and beginners guides and ask lots of questions.

    WOW! I can't believe you know about the fish fry. Lol seems like it gets a little smaller every year, but its still great for the community and fun for our younger folks. And thanks fella's for being so welcoming like I said this is a great site and look forward to being apart of it for a long time. I think straight razor shaving is a lost art. I look forward to learning from all of your experience's and being able to teach my future son's how to be a true gentlemen. Carrying on what seems to be a lost tradition( at least in my generation,most of my friends have never even heard of straight razor shaving)
