Thanked: 7Howdy from Montana
Just joined today and am happy to be here. This site is information overload. The wife and I are retired cattle ranchers (registered Texas Longhorns) so I have a few parts left over and would like to start restoring some straights using "parts on hand". I have 13 razors waiting to be restored and when my new Nortons come I'll be ready to hear that burned toast being buttered!

Thanked: 1263Hello and Welcome to SRP. Its a great place full of tons of info and good people that'll help you however they can. If you've never shaved with a straight before may I suggest you get one proffessionally honed, that way you'll have a benchmark to know what a shave ready razor is supposed to be and to help you in your own honing.
