    Default new member from MA

    After I decided that I wanted to give str8 razor shaving a shot. I started lurking, reading all I can and went out and bought a dovo best quality, honed and stropped to a shaving edge, tried it out on just the sides (as suggested) and now I'm hooked.

    Welcome, and congrats!

    Coming away from your first shave & feeling good cannot be matched by many experiences. Probably already, you're close to having the best shaved cheeks you've ever had. It gets better. You'll learn how to deal with difficult spots, etc, but you'll do that well too.

    Enjoy it alot. The guys here are more helpful than any I've found on any forum - on any topic. I can't thank them enough. Post alot. Ask alot of questions. Enjoy the learning and the incredible shaves that will now start your days with a big smile.

    Default I remember that feeling

    Glad to have you here, man I'll tell you I remember that smooth first one. You feel on top the world and want to melt every plastic razor on the planet. Keep it up and be sure and post photos of the shave den as it develops.
