Relearning to shave
Hello fellows ,
Another newb to the straight razor
. Don't really know what to say. How many cuts your first time?
About a half dozen for me. Nics really , not cuts. Minor bleeding.

When I started with a straight I looked like an extra from the movie Fight Club; I use to get some very odd looks in the Office
These nicks etc are part of the 'right-of-passage' for straight shavers

It takes time to learn technique...But it is worth it....When I first started people would ask me "Why?"...I would say that it is not so much a better way, as it is a statement....Now after practice...it is a better way (and still a statement)..And yes, it looked like someone threw a cat at my face for the first few months..
