    Default new guy from toronto

    hey my name is Josh, im new to the world of straight shaving. my brother started a few months ago and it got me really interested. my first razor is coming in the mail in about a week. i really cant wait to start shaving.

    Welcome to SRP from a fellow Canadian on the other side of the country. We've seen many new members from T.O. and surrounding areas lately, not sure if there's some sort of wetshaving trend going on out there but welcome nonetheless.

    I think you are right about the trend of going back to the good old days.
    I just pickup a few typewriter. I found that using a typewriter is far more satisfying then typing on a computer keyboard.

    I am from TB, Ontario and waiting for my first SR to come in about a week as well. I ordered 4 BTW. The price on the bay for used or vintage razors are much higher (may be doubled in 2011 by comparing to the similar items sold in December). Wish I have found this site earlier so that I would not have had paid that much for potentially inferior goods.
