    Hello all I'm Dr. Drev. I have been interested in straight razor shaving for a long time and am just starting to get into it. Looking for any advice for novices also looking for a good razor to start out with.

    Welcome to SRP. There are a lot of cheap good razors in the classifieds here and the members here wont steer you wrong.

    The Wiki is very helpful to start, and definitely check out the classified... but get something cheap for the first razor so you don't get ****ed when you chip the blade on the faucet.
