Hi from Tampa Bay
New guy here from the sunshine state. Been wet shaving for about 2 months. Finally decided to take the plunge. After a lot of lurking and getting a decent setup from Larry over at Whipped Dog Straights I finally had my first few straight shaves. The learning process is going tedious but moving along quickly. I have learned to respect the steel. I still plan on doing the DE thing as it shaves some time but I can say I don't mind the longer shaves as they are a heck of a lot more fun now.

Welcome to SRP! This is great fun, isn't it? Who knew shaving could be such a treat?
I started last September. I'm sure there are guys who have quick success at this, but my advice is go slow, read everything before you buy anything, and follow the KISS principle,
