Hello all. I thought I would jump in with this introduction. I am stationed at Ft. McCoy Wisconsin as an active duty Army officer and greatly enjoy old fashioned things, straight razors being one of them.
I have started using a straight razor a couple months ago and I am absolutely addicted to it. I currently own two Dovo’s, a Boker “The Celebrated Straight Razor” and a Damascus custom. I found the SRP surfing the internet looking for straight razors to add to my collection and to find more information on the art. I found myself hooked on this site reading all the helpful and informative posts. I greatly look forward to exploring this site and learning more about the world of straight razors.

Welcome to SRP. We just finished a gathering of sharp edge afficianados in Minnesota. Some folks even hailed from Wisconsin. I suspect if they get organized, just a little more, some of us will come over there to help them have a good time too.

Hey I hail from the badger state as well. This site has more info on str8s then is concievable. I would love to get a meet going in wisconsin. I am new to this and would love to see some of the artists on hones at work.

That would be great to have some kind of convention or show in Wisconsin. I also would love to see some artists work their magic. It is much easier to watch someone in person and to be able to ask questions on the spot. It would also be nice to meet some of the members of SRP in person as well.
